The purpose of this project is to improve the management effectiveness of important tiger conservation areas. Specific activities include 1) Set up of national CATS committee; 2) Host training workshop and study tour on CATS and METT+; 3) Site (self)assessment; 4) Anti-poaching awareness building activities in schools and local communities; 5) Communication facilities maintenance and patrolling gears for front line staff; 6) Site Assessment of three parks by Independent Reviewer; and 7) Seed fund to get the CA|TS country plan 2018-2022 operationalized including orientation workshop for Chief Forestry Officers and stakeholder meeting with the sites.
